A session represents one connected WhatsApp number. Each session can send and receive messages independently. You can manage multiple sessions from a single dashboard.

No. WaHttp uses the WhatsApp Web protocol, not the official WhatsApp Business API. This means no Meta approval is needed to get started. You can begin sending messages immediately after scanning the QR code.

Yes. Your phone stays connected and fully functional. The session runs in parallel, so you can use WhatsApp on your phone while WaHttp handles API messages.

Using third-party tools always carries some risk. However, our Smart Queue system paces messages to stay within WhatsApp's limits, and we provide warm-up guidance to minimize risk. No tool can guarantee zero bans, but we take every precaution to keep your account safe.

Smart Queue automatically paces your outgoing messages to stay within WhatsApp's hourly and daily limits. It distributes messages evenly over time instead of sending them all at once, which significantly reduces the chance of triggering rate limits or bans.

Yes. Each plan supports a specific number of sessions (connected numbers). The Growth plan includes 3 sessions, Business includes 6, and Agency includes 10. Enterprise offers unlimited sessions.

Our system detects disconnections automatically and attempts reconnection. You'll receive an alert, and can re-scan the QR code from your dashboard. Messages are queued safely during disconnection.

Access to production systems is restricted, and API keys are scoped by role so you can limit what each integration can do and revoke it independently. Yes. As well as QR scanning, WaHttp can issue an 8-character pairing code that you enter in WhatsApp under Linked Devices, then Link with phone number. Request one from the dashboard or by calling POST /api/sessions/{id}/pairing-code. This is useful when the phone is not physically with you.

Yes. Both individual contacts and groups are supported. Choose the recipient type when sending a message, and incoming group messages arrive through the same webhooks with isGroup set to true.

Text, images, video, audio and documents, to individual contacts or groups. Media is sent through the same endpoint as text by changing the message type.

WaHttp exposes a Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint at https://app.wahttp.com/mcp. Authenticate the same way as the REST API: create an API key and send it as a Bearer token. Point any MCP client at that URL, including Claude, Cursor, or your own agent.

Three roles are available. Admin has full access to all resources, operator covers session and message management, and viewer is read-only. Scope each key to the least access it needs so you can revoke one integration without disturbing the others.

WaHttp sends message.received, message.sent, message.ack, message.failed, message.revoked and message.reaction for message activity, plus session.status, session.qr, session.authenticated and session.disconnected for connection state. Payloads are JSON, delivered with retries, and can be signed with a secret so you can verify them.
